I am a PhD student in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am advised by Dr. John Armston.
In May 2025, I have received my Master of Science in Geospatial Data Sciences from the University of Michigan. My thesis presented an independent and vigorous validation of a commercial aboveground biomass density (AGBD) product using field-based estimates from the US Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program in the western US. I was advised by Dr. Kai Zhu.
Prior to that, I got my bachelor’s degree in Geomatics and Geodesy from Wuhan University. My undergraduate thesis focused on using the GNSS-IR technique to monitor sea surface changes under extreme weather conditions.
